Flying Fox Festival

The AustralAsian League has let loose the Formula XR for the upcoming season as the long awaited open wheel racing cars make an unprecedented return to the biggest LFS league in the southern hemisphere.

The Flying Fox Festival will run over five rounds, like its predecessor GTR series did. Venturing onto new tracks and configurations the series will definitely be close and provide even more strategy with pit stops.

Unlike the GTR series where races are approximately the same length, the Flying Fox Festival will push the boundaries with a combination of approximate race times, ranging between 60-90 minutes.

A small break will follow after the GTR 5 Race Series concludes on September 14. The Flying Fox Festival is set to be at the following tracks on these dates:

Points System

Points for the series will be applied as per the GTR series with one minor change..

The winner of Div A will get 500 points, second 495, third 490 and so on with 5 point increments.
The winner of Div B will get the same as third last in A, second, the same as 2nd last in A, third, the same as last placed finisher then so on with 5 point increments. The lower divisions will be calculated the same way.

Wind

Wind *may* be applied to any OR all races. The admin team will decide and advise in the race mails what level of wind (if any) will be applied for that race. It will be applied the same accross all servers.
